In Between

A quick preview of my new hair.  I went mid length and chopped off the ombre! So wait, does this make me an old b*tch, who now LOOKS HER AGE, that's lucky to have a bang'n body? (Lol, inside joke about a comment from this previous post) I was really nervous about doing this because it's typically the untamable, fussy, in between length that most of us can't stand when we're waiting for our hair to grow out. But, I got my cut (and color) done with Holly of Reve Salon and it just goes to show that the right amount of texture can make this mid-length cut look fresh.  I love it so much I would even go shorter. Anyway, happy Monday!

ps- con: no more cute top knot buns, but a short sexy pony tail is just as fab.

  1. I remember that genius that commented on your page trying to make cuts at you while they were probably staying at home eating cheetos and growing wider. You are hot and you will never look your age, good genetics! Loving the hair, it looks so full and healthy.

  3. Aloha, long time reader and lurker, but first time commenter.

I love your new hair. I think it's super cute. However, you can still do a top knot with that length of hair! I used to have a mid-length cut while I was growing it out and I was able to do a modified top knot (messy top knot). Here's a tutorial I did with a girl who has medium length hair: http://thereafterish.com/2011/11/04/quick-messy-top-knot-bun-how-to/. I think it looks pretty awesome, and it's literally a minute to do. Alternatively, if you have Goodie Spin Pins, you can do a side chignon look: http://thereafterish.com/2011/07/19/easy-summer-hair-double-chignon-and-spin-pins/

I think your hair looks amazing and the texture looks great - it's a sassy cut. I think you would look gorgeous with short hair, too. You have the symmetry in your features for it! <3
